At KDB, Odor removal is our expertise. It's what we do and we do it better that anyone!
I have catagorized odors into 2 groups: Source and Ghost
Source: The odor causing material is still there. For Example: Removing a "Source" stain like urine in carpet usually only needs a special solution soaking and a water claw type of extraction with a fresh water rinse. In some extreme cases the carpet needs to be pulled back and pad need to be removed and/or replaced. Some "Source" stains like cat spray or skunk spray need a lot more attention.
"Ghost" odors. These are odors that stick around after the "Source" is gone. Like cigarette, nicotine, smoke, fish, pets, foods, and so on. Most folks buy the febreeze or glade sprays to try and mask the odors. It helps to a point but what has happened is the odors have permeated into the paint, wood, walls, air duct system and where ever it could. For these types of odors more steps need to be taken along with cleaning. This is when we bring in the more extreme solutions and treat by using Fogging and OZONE machines.
We utilize various different ways to combat odors. Here are a few of those techniques:
We can do a complete cleaning!
By using High powered Ozone machines, we are able to flood an entire area with O3 activated oxygen. Thats right! We use Oxygen to fight and kill odor by creating an activated or reactive third oxygen molecule. The third oxygen molecule will brek away and attack the odor and attempt to oxidize it. Since oxygen is everywhere it can penetrate where chemicals cant. We can treat Walls, floors, cracks and crevices, grout lines in tile, stoves, cabinets, attics, crawlspaces! Everywhere oxygen can go, we can reach.
If you are affected with allergies or illness, ozone can kill bacteria and viruses. Eliminate allergens in the Air Duct System without use of chemicals.
The use of Ozone has been known to kill Bed Bugs, Roaches, mice, snakes and many other pests, But does not take the place of a pest control company.
Will be deducted from your final total.
Certified by The National Ozone Association
Optional Fogging can help keep germs and other bacteria at bay for an extended period of time. The Detergent/Disinfectant is EPA approved to disinfect surfaces contaminated with Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Shigella dysenteriae, Methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), Influenza, HIV, Norovirus, Aspergillus niger and much more.
